Finding Christmas Gifts Isn’t Always Easy
Like so many of us, I made my task list of things I wanted to accomplish while quarantining during the pandemic. Getting a puppy made the top of the list, so we welcomed our little Bella into our home. Next on my list was to start planning early for the holiday season. I was going to put great thought into finding or making the perfect gift for everyone this year.
My family and I are huge Disney fans. My daughter lives in Florida and works for Disney, so this year’s gift procurement would be easy! I needed a cute disney dog collar for Bella, an equally cute dog collar for my Chloe (who barely tolerates Bella), and an UP Disney Funko Pop for a close family friend.
I sent my daughter to World of Disney—and everything on my list was out of stock and not expected until next year ... maybe. Ok, plan B: get the dogs the adorable squeaky dog toys shaped like the Mickey Mouse, ice cream bars, or waffles. Out of stock. Bandanas? Out of stock. How about the large cozy plush Disney blanket for my other daughter? Out of stock. I asked my daughter to check Mouse Gear or the Emporium in the parks … again, no luck.
Can I preorder any of these items? The super nice Disney team told me “No,” in a very magical way, because they had no idea when these items were going to be back in stock.
