We recommend using this polyester thread to repair inflatable bounce houses and slides plus tents, tarps, outdoor cushions and upholstery, sails, outdoor canvas covers, boat covers and awnings. Polyester is known for its strength, durability, low shrinkage, stretch and is the most common thread for outdoor applications. Over nylon threads, polyester thread has superior resistance to UV rays and moisture but much of its strength is lost after prolonged exposure to sunlight.
